A Fresh Swirl in Bend's Northside

The morning sun rose over Northside Bend, and with it came the hum of excitement. During the day, a small crowd began to gather outside our brand-new Cuppa Yo doors, bundled in jackets but full of anticipation. At 12:00 PM, the ribbon was cut, cheers filled the air, and just like that, Cuppa Yo Northside was officially open for business!
It was a day to remember, full of smiles, laughter, and plenty of frozen yogurt. After months of planning and preparation, watching the Bend community welcome our 15th Cuppa Yo store with so much enthusiasm was truly heartwarming.
Grand Opening Highlights
The day started with the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The energy was contagious, with friends, families, and new faces all coming out to celebrate our newest location. We couldn’t have opening day without any promotions! The first 25 customers scored a $25 gift card, and the next 150 walked away with a color-changing 16oz Cuppa Yo bowl that comes with a lifetime 10% discount. (Yes, you read that right, lifetime!)
Owners Crystal and Keith shared their gratitude on the day, saying, “We are endlessly grateful to the Bend and Central Oregon community for over 15 years of support. Even after all this time, we still smile every day when we see our Cuppa Yomies walk through the door. This family business exists because of you, our amazing customers.”
And that wasn’t all, as we love a good celebration, everyone who came on opening day received 30% off their entire order all day long. It was a perfect way to kick off a new chapter in our Cuppa Yo story, and seeing everyone’s one-of-a-kind creations made our day.
Behind the Scenes: The Creators Came to Play
We were thrilled to welcome some amazing local Bend creators who stopped by to taste, film, and capture all the grand opening fun.
Mrs.mftasty was mesmerized by the Sparrow Bakery Cardamon Ocean Roll, sharing on Instagram, “They nailed the flavor”.
Ali, known as @bendoregonwithali, tried froyo for the very first time and shared, “I finally did something I’ve never done with the girls — FroYo! Such a memorable time with our friends.” She teamed up with @thebendfoodie for the big day, perfectly capturing the chaos and joy of the toppings bar: “Zero strategy at the toppings bar. Full chaos. Strong opinions on animal cracker placement. Memories made.”
